Clinton has moved from associate to sole practitioner to principal doctor with associates, and from a very modest practice to a high volume practice, based on his ability to create amazing relationships.
His passion and focus with every client shines through so his clients trust him and become enthusiastic about their chiropractic care. He has developed very special skills in caring for the emotional needs of all clients. However, the main reason his clients come to the practice is that it is a FUN place to visit. Getting well is a bonus.
Clinton has a long history of wanting to help people. His dad was a major influence on him as he had always told Clinton he had strong hands and he would make a great physiotherapist. From a very early age, that is all he wanted to do; being a policeman or a fireman didn’t rate in this young boy’s dreams. Clinton loved sport, especially swimming and Aussie Rules Football. He spent many years swimming competitively and it was during that time in his early teenage years that he damaged his back in a swimming training session and three days later that he was wiped out in a tackle in his beloved football.
After an intensive year at the physiotherapist, he was released with no improvement and told that he couldn’t be helped any further. As a teenager, not being able to play footy or swim was extremely disheartening until a kind soul suggested Chiropractic. And that is where Clinton ‘s life changed. X-rays were taken and the first adjustment was a miracle. He stood up straight and in no pain, looked his chiropractor in the eyes and said “I’m going to be a Chiropractor.” It took a time to regain his optimal health, yet chiropractic and persistence prevailed.
Clinton was born and bred in Melbourne , Australia , and lived one year of his life in Sydney . He attended St Kevin’s College in Toorak for all of his high school years. The school instilled in Clinton many of his core values, Love, Honour, Integrity and Compassion and his years as a competitive swimmer taught him the only way to succeed is to work hard, work hard and work hard and love what you are doing.
While in high school, Clinton spent many hours talking and observing with Chiropractors and even working as a gardener for a clinic; anything to be around them. He graduated from high school and was blessed to be accepted into University at R.M.I.T in Melbourne , Australia to begin his Chiropractic studies.
Throughout his studies, Clinton took an active role in the chiropractic students community. He was Class President in his early years and had an active role on the Chiropractic Students Association in his later years. He became the President of the R.M.I.T Chapter of the World Congress of Chiropractic Students (W.C.C.S.) and in 1992 he represented the University in New York .. In 1996 he received the Meritorious Service Award from the university for his contribution to the Chiropractic community and to the enhancement and improvement to the Chiropractic students and the Chiropractic profession.
He first worked as an associate in the small mining town of Whyalla in South Australia for three years. With fantastic training from his first principal, Dr Naomi Perry, and from all the years of observations with other colleagues, he ran a very successful practice. In late 1998, Clinton relocated to Mackay, North Queensland in Australia ‘s sub tropics on The Great Barrier Reef, and bought his first practice. By early 2000 he had the practice adjusting around 200 patients per week.
He was introduced to Powerful Practices at the start of 2001 and has never looked back.
Clinton has adjusted a very high volume of clients each week through the rest of his time in Mackay. In 2003 he completely rebuilt his practice to a modern state of the art practice with 4 adjusting rooms and x-ray facilities were also installed. It was specifically designed as a 2 DC clinic. He took on his first associate later that year and continued to run a high volume practice while training the associate to do the same.
In early 2007, Clinton relocated to Mt Barker, South Australia , where he worked as an associate for a year before buying the practice, while still maintaining the practice in Mackay half way across the country.
Throughout this time, he knew it was very important to continue to self develop and as a result attended many philosophical, (Chiropractic and life), transformational, inspirational and educational workshops and retreats. He completed his Life and Business coaching programme in mid 2007 and has been coaching since then. As Donald Trump said “The greatest thing anyone can do is self develop” and Clinton agrees with this saying.
His philosophy on life is to love inspire, empower, heal and help as many people on this earth as he possibly can while maintaining balance, having lots of fun with his children, family and friends.
He leads a very busy life and effectively manages to be a loving single dad of 3 beautiful young children; Ebony, Zara and Dylan, running 2 practices, having loads of fun in his personal life, maintaining his own personal freedom and successfully coaching many clients through Powerful Practices International.
