Coach and mentor of Powerful Practices International, Dr Bettina Tornatora has been awarded Chiropractor of the Year by the CAA at this year’s annual conference in Canberra. This highly prestigious award within the industry of chiropractic is given to an individual based on their contribution to the profession.
What an amazing contribution Bettina has provided to chiropractic and she continues to do so.
While being an integral part of the Powerful Practices International team, Bettina’s career and experience as a Chiropractor spans over 25 years. Her roles include being a coach, speaker, author and now CEO of Powerful Practices International. In her capacity as a coach and mentor, Dr Tornatora coaches chiropractors and their teams. Her coaching provides clients with the passion and skills they need to succeed and thrive within their practice and life. She also chairs “Women In Chiropractic”, championing and establishing a great support platform for many Australian female chiropractors.
“Receiving the Australian Chiropractor of the Year has been a truly humbling experience. The work I do and have done, for this profession that I love, has been hugely rewarding. To be acknowledged for that work in this way by the CAA, is a huge honour.”
Within her role as a mentor, Dr Tornatora also lectures out of RMIT Melbourne in the area of professional communication. She has also spent several years volunteering for the business course offered by CAA Victoria for RMIT students on getting an ideal associate role upon graduation.

As far as Darwin in the Northern Territory and Dubbo in New South Wales, before seeing herself and husband Jim back in Brunswick West, Melbourne. Across her career, she has practiced as an associate, a principle in multi-disciplinary practices, as well as owning multiple locations and running a successful home-based business. She continues to practice out of Melbourne.
