One of the most common questions we get asked by our coaching clients is:
How do I improve the performance of my team, my business or my practice?
We are glad you asked!
There are a number of ways that this can happen. Here are three of the most common and effective ways that our coaches have found that have an impact on your capacity to get the best results.
Where do I need to focus to get the greatest Return on Investment (ROI)?
This is your ‘what’.
What are you working towards?
What does it look like for you?
The sharper and clearer you are on your vision, the more emotionally connected and invested you (and your team) will ultimately be.
Get your team involved.
Brainstorm and write down what it is that you are working towards. If you want your whole team to be on board and engaged, include them as well. Have crystal clear clarity on what it is you are working towards (a “Vision Board” can be a great place to start).
This is our ‘why’.
At times of major challenge in your business, being clear on your ‘why’ gives you an emotional connection to keep forging through.
When people are clear on their purpose, their levels of engagement are much higher than they otherwise would have been. They find something to keep them going when they are challenged.
A great example of this is Toyota’s ‘5 Why’ principle.

It will help you to get clarity as to why you embarked on this process in the first place.
This is our ‘how.
A vision without action is purely a dream.
This is where the power of the mission now comes in to play.
Missions are effectively the pathway of HOW you will get from where you are to where you want to be. This involves making yourself accountable over a period of time on your journey.
A great action step is to start writing down the things you would be required to do to get to where you want to go.
Attach a time frame to each of those action steps and then hold yourself (or get your coach to) accountable to them.
These are three of the most common ways to improve your business or practice.
1. Get clear on your vision.
2. Identify your purpose.
3. Define your mission.
