When they first start out, many Practices work diligently to create an inspiring Purpose, Vision and Mission.
They delve into their Why, their what and the how of the practice and set about creating the practice with this in mind. And then things begin to flow and soon the PVM becomes second nature. Or does it?
When was the last time you revisited your PVM for your practice? Are the team who are involved today the same ones who set it in the first place? Have the systems and procedures evolved to become the tools that will execute the mission?
When was the last time you discussed and felt inspired by your vision for your practice in a meeting? Or have they become something that adorns the wall or a document somewhere, but not living and breathing drivers of your every day.
The purpose, vision and mission of your practice is the road map to your achieving success in practice. It requires buy in by all the team members and use each day, week and month to become a reality.
Set a date today to revisit your PVM and connect to the Why, What and How of your practice and your life.
